Robbie Yellott, a seasoned coach with 20 years of experience, was born and raised in Lake Charles, LA. He attended A.M. Barbe High School, graduating in 1996, before earning his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University in 2000 and a master’s degree from Louisiana State University in 2008.

Robbie’s coaching career has spanned multiple roles over the past 20 years. He began as a Volunteer Assistant Strength Coach at Texas Christian University from 2004 to 2006, followed by a position as a Graduate Assistant Strength Coach at Louisiana State University from 2006 to 2008. He then took on various coaching roles at Zachary High School from 2008 to 2016, before moving to Denham Springs High School, where he coached Running Backs, Wide Receivers, and Powerlifting from 2016 to 2022. Currently, Robbie is at Central High School, where he coaches Running Backs, H-Backs/TE, and Softball, a role he has held since 2022.

A second-generation educator, Robbie was influenced by his father, a high school teacher and basketball coach, and his mother, a college math professor. He is a dedicated family man who loves coaching and takes pride in helping young athletes grow.

​

Robbie is engaged to Shene’ Ashley, who works as a Surgical Coordinator at Baton Rouge Orthopedic Clinic. He has three children: Analise, a freshman at Southeastern University studying nursing and a member of the Phi Mu sorority; Amelia, a freshman at Central High School and a soccer player; and Mason, a 2nd grader at Amite Christian Academy who enjoys video games and soccer. The family also includes Ruger, their 14-week-old Bernese Mountain Dog, who is spoiled rotten.

In his free time, Robbie enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending quality time with his family.
