BRANDON BUTLER
Brandon Butler was born and raised in Zachary, LA, and is deeply rooted in his community.
Growing up in a large family with five siblings, Brandon understands the value of strong family connections. He met his wife, Tramekia, in 2005, and they married in 2012. Together, they have built a loving blended family of seven, including their dog, Sasha.

Brandon's older children, Darweshi Sanders (24), Jhatori Sanders (20), and Kayla Butler (20), are each carving out their own paths. Darweshi and Jhatori are both working and living independently, while Kayla is in her second year at BRCC. His younger children, Brandon Jr. (15) and Bryleigh (13), keep the family active with their involvement in various extracurricular activities, from dance recitals and wrestling meets to rugby and football games.

Before embarking on a career in education and coaching, Brandon spent 12 years in the industrial sector as a multi-skilled maintenance mechanic and welder. In 2020, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in secondary education from Southern University A&M College. With five years of coaching experience, Brandon is dedicated to mentoring young athletes, helping them grow both on and off the field.

Brandon enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and fishing whenever he gets the chance. His wife, Tramekia Butler, also shares strong ties to Zachary. A 2007 BSN graduate from Southern University A&M College School of Nursing, she has been an RN for 17 years and currently serves as an RN Clinical Manager at a dialysis facility.

Family is at the heart of everything Brandon does, and he takes great pride in being an active and supportive presence in the lives of his children and the young athletes he coaches.
