ANTHONY CAMP
Anthony Camp has lived and breathed football, both as a player and a coach. A proud graduate of Parkview Baptist, Anthony played high school football before moving on to Arkansas State, where he played for two years. He then transferred to McNeese, continuing his football career while earning his degree.
Following his time in college, he played arena football before transitioning to coaching, starting as a graduate assistant at McNeese and then at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Anthony began his high school coaching career at his alma mater, Parkview Baptist, before becoming the Defensive Coordinator at Catholic High of Baton Rouge. His next steps took him back to college football, where he was the special team coordinator as well as the defense line coach at Nicholls State and then at the University of Louisiana Monroe. Anthony's career then led him to Louisiana Tech University, where he spent two seasons coaching the defensive line before shifting to coach the outside linebackers.

Bringing his wealth of college-level experience back to Central High School, Anthony now serves as the Defensive Coordinator, working alongside Head Coach David Simoneaux. The two have known each other for over 30 years, having played, graduated, and now coached together.

Anthony married his wife, Aubre, in 2017, and they have three children: Asher (5), Connor (4), and Chloe Belle (10 months). When Anthony isn’t coaching, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking (his favorite hobby), and taking golf cart rides with Aubre and the kids. His passion for football is matched only by his love for family, making him a devoted coach and family man.
